Explore the meaning of life!!  The alpha Course is an opportunity for anyone to explore Christianity.  It’s a place where you can come listen, learn, discuss and ask anything about the meaning of life in a relaxed and non-pressured environment. Have you made any New Year’s resolutions? Are they about money managing? Or do you like money and wish you had more of it? If you answered yes to any of these questions, or would just like to know how to develop a better financial plan, then come to the BSM Nightlight every Monday at 7:30!

Starting January 28 @ 7:30  the BSM will be leading a group in Dave Ramsey’s Foundations. Foundations is the college version of his Financial Peace University. Through this study, participants will learn how to handle their finances through cutting out debt, balancing a budget, and various pop culture myths about debt and credit! Participates will also learn how to “put themselves out there” in the job market for after college! Resume building and proper etiquette are just a few skills taught on top of financial planning. It’s a new year!!!!! A new year means a new, fresh start, right? Every new year seems to spark a re-do in people’s minds all over. This is the year where they are going to better themselves. What is your resolution? For some a new year means working on trying to lose weight and get back in shape for swimsuit wear! Gym memberships will increase all over the country, fast food restaurants will probably be slow for a few months, and everyone is trying to find the quickest way to lose weight. For some a new year means a chance to learn something new and improve on themselves–to try and be a better person.

In the spirit of a New Year (even though it is not a new school year), the BSM is also looking at 2013 with big bright eyes eagerly anticipating the future and the changes the future may (or may not) bring. We hope that 2013 will bring lots of joys and blessings.

In the quest to “be a better person”, may you not forget the spiritual side of life. And along the way, come check out the BSM. We are here for you to live life together and to grow together in Christ in whatever journey 2013 brings!

Our first “Freebies” lunch will be Wednesday, August 29th from 11AM-1 PM!!  Every Wednesday during the semester we will have a free meal provided by various churches.

This semester our “Night Light” bible study will be on Mondays @ 7:30 PM beginning with a “Welcome Back Party” on September 10th.

Every Tuesday @ 7:30 pm is”Night Light” and this semester Grant Rainey (BSM Director) is teaching on spiritual warfares.  Come hang out and get to know other students as well as join in on the bible study.

“Freebies”  is every Wednesday from 11 AM – 1 PM for students, faculty and staff.  Why not come on over and have a good home cooked meal provided by a different church each week???
